About this opportunity We're looking to recruit a Software Engineer to work in our International & CHAPS Lab providing payment options for all of our customers.
Specifically, to support our new industry-leading International Payments Platform (IPP).
Our strategic roadmap includes a Payments Industry product called Global Payments Plus (GPP).
This product is being used to deliver key revenue streams as well as enable mandatory compliance.
Here's how you'll make a difference: You'll be a Software Engineer preferably with International SWIFT and Payments experience with previous knowledge of integrating, introducing, and supporting 3rd Party packages, including bespoke solution configuration and rules-based engineering into a Payments production environment.
Adept solutions designer and problem solver.
Proven experience using these technologies would be advantageous: GPP, Java EE (J2EE), SQL, Oracle, Unix/Linux, MQ, WebSphere.
Experience in use of Agile and DevOps tooling is essential.
What you'll need You'll have all-around knowledge of the software development lifecycle, ideally within a modern Agile engineering function.
You'll have good communication & teamwork skills.
You'll have good problem-solving skills within a technical environment.
You'll be able to work with 3rd party suppliers to drive defect management.
You'll be able to support planning and implementing production changes.
Ensuring solutions meet the necessary requirements.
