Software Development Process Manager

Growing software platform development business is seeking an outstanding Software Development Process Manager to work with their Development, QA/Testing and Customer Success teams to ensure top quality, highly efficient and best practise process and delivery of their software platforms.
This role would suit a Project Manager, Process Manager or Delivery Manager with prior experience working in web or software development environments, who has previously had responsibility for ensuring efficient and high quality software production and delivery in a web, front end development environment.
Your role will be to sit between the Developers, QA/testers and client facing success teams to manage multiple delivery workstreams, improve processes, question and push back on current practises, facilitate smoother delivery and liaise with all responsible parties.
As a result it requires fabulous communication and interpersonal skills, diplomacy, ability to prioritise and the nous to be able to persuade and cajole delivery as needed.
You do NOT need to be a hands on Developer or Coder yourself but MUST have worked in software or web development environments and so should be able to talk the right language and understand when issues are relevant or not with Dev and QA teams.
Therefore some knowledge of web dev tools, java, javascrip, typescript, react, UI etc would be welcome.

The role can be mainly remote but ideally you should be local enough to attend the office a few times a month, go to company events and get to know people, especially in early stages.
