About Money Tracking: Our mission as the Money Tracking team is to direct and track money reliably and efficiently while enabling growth through flexible fund flows.
In short, our team enables GoCardless to know where the merchant's and payer's money is at any one time.
Practically, this means ensuring that as payment volumes grow, we continue to direct funds and track money accurately to ensure we meet our regulatory obligations to safeguard merchant funds.
It also means evolving the way we track money to support the product changes that address more merchant needs and unlock future growth for GoCardless.
Projects in the pipeline that align with these focus areas: Work on the scalability of our core services to ensure they can efficiently support substantial growth in payment volumes as we scale.Improving our payment processing reliability by rearchitecting our systems to be more resilient to failures.Evolving our money tracking capabilities to support outbound payments.As an SDE3, you will actively shape the team's future, aiming to build a robust, high-quality product.
