BASIC QUALIFICATIONS5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experienceExperience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering teamPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS5+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experienceBachelor's degree in computer science or equivalentExperience building complex software systems that have been successfully delivered to customersExperience contributing to the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systemsExperience programming with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented designOur inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
