CreoPlan , a leading developer of interactive 3D environments and applications, is offering a fantastic opportunity for a Level 4 Software Developer Apprentice to join our growing team.
In this role, you'll gain valuable experience working on the entire software development lifecycle, from initial planning to deployment and maintenance.
In this role, youll work towards your Level 4 Software Development qualification, delivered by our expert training team at Baltic Apprenticeships.
A Typical Day in the Job: Assist in developing and maintaining interactive 3D environments and applications using Unreal Engine.
Work on the full software development lifecycle, from planning to deployment and maintenance.
Write logical and maintainable code for projects, implementing core functionalities in C++ and Blueprints.
Collaborate with designers, artists, managers, and peers to integrate assets and ensure project success.
Contribute to testing and quality assurance processes.
Work with version control systems throughout the development process.
Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the Baltic team.
Salary, Hours & Benefits: ?
£22,300 per annum Working Monday-Friday 9am-5pm Standard holiday entitlement.
Desired Qualities, Skills and Knowledge: Passion for gaming, 3D environments, and interactive simulations.
Basic knowledge of programming languages like C++, Python, or similar technologies.
Some experience or familiarity with Unreal Engine 4/5 is a plus.
Strong problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate ideas clearly.
Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced development environment.
A bonus: Understanding of 3D modeling, game design, or graphic tools.
Minimum grade 4/C in English and Maths at GCSE is required for this role.
