Job Description Duty and Assessment Social Worker in Halton area \n \n This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children and families in the community.
\n As a key member of the team, you will play a vital role in safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, carrying out timely assessments, and ensuring effective service delivery.
\n \n \n This is a full time locum role on ongoing basis.
\n \n Key Responsibilities: \n Respond promptly to referrals and conduct timely assessments in line with statutory requirements.
\n Undertake child protection investigations and risk assessments.
\n Collaborate with children, families, and multi-agency professionals to develop and implement robust care plans.
\n Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records.
\n Attend court proceedings and provide written and verbal evidence as required.
\n Promote the safety, well-being, and development of children at all times.
\n \n Essential Requirements: \n A recognised Social Work qualification (Degree/Diploma in Social Work).
\n Current registration with Social Work England.
\n Previous experience in a Duty and Assessment or similar frontline social work role.
\n A thorough knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures.
\n The ability to work full-time hours (no condensed hours available).
