In this pivotal role, you will have the opportunity to use your expertise to assess parenting capacity and develop support plans that empower families and promote positive outcomes for children.
What you will be doing: Conduct thorough parenting assessments using a variety of tools and frameworks Build strong relationships with families to understand their unique strengths and needs.
Create and implement individualised support plans.
Collaborate effectively with professionals such as psychologists, teachers, and healthcare providers.
Prepare comprehensive reports and participate in legal proceedings as required.
Contribute to the ongoing improvement of our services.
What you bring to the team: A recognised Social Work qualification and at least 2 years of post-qualifying experience.
Solid understanding of child development, attachment theory, and family dynamics.
Proven experience in conducting parenting assessments.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and active listening skills.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team to manage a caseload.
