Social Worker

Blackburn with Darwen ChildrensServices requires 1 full time (37 hours per week) agency children's social workerto cover in its Duty and AssessmentService.

There will be both homeworking and office-based working arrangements as per the service requirements so you will be required to work flexibly.
Central town location close to main road networks/services and parking close by.
Purpose of the job: Children in need; Children in need of protection; Children looked after and subject to care proceedings; Children awaiting adoptive placements.
About you: The candidate will have at least 3 yearspost qualification experience in Dutyand Assessment/Safeguarding workwithin English Local Authorities Car driver Available to start within a few weeks.
You must have good communication skills and be a team worker with the ability to work independently and manage a caseload.
Previous experience of the use of Protocol Liquid Logic an advantage but not essential.
