Social Worker Fostering Full time salaries are: Level 1 Social Worker (ASYE) £35,745 per annum.
Level 2 Social Worker from £36,648 to £38,223 per annum.
Level 3 Social Worker from £39,186 to £41,418 per annum.
We are seeking to recruit an experienced, enthusiastic, and dedicated supervising social worker who shares a passion in supporting the professional development of colleagues.
The supervising role is ideal for a Social Worker looking to develop their skills and experience.
You will receive support from a permanent Team Manager with regular supervision, numerous training opportunities and a commitment to your on-going professional development.
My Home Fostering Service consists of three teams.
Team 1 is recruitment and assessment team.
This team has recently launched the Mockingbird project.
Team 2 is the support and supervision team.
Team 3 connected carers team also known as kinship care work with friends and family.
Each team however work well together to cover the full service.
The successful applicant will be working on Team 3.
As an supervising social worker they will be expectation to assist in development the service and promote good practice..
They will be expected to have a knowledge of Fostering Regulations/National Minimum Standards as well as safeguarding experience and fostering assessment skills.
The post holder will be undertaking connected carers assessments including viabilities and reg 24 assessments.
Carry a caseload of families they will be responsible for supporting and assessing to a high standard.
Including statutory meetings, Foster Carer reviews, Panel attendance, supporting the team with Training & Development and all compliance matters under the Fostering Regulations and Standards.
The Post holder will also be expected to complete fostering duty alongside all other social worker in the service.
Normal hours of work are 37 hours per week based around the usual business working week.
We do offer flexible working patterns in line with service requirements.
Dependent on service requirements, you may be required to work on a rota basis.
