Social Worker - Children In Care

We are currently seeking motivated and enthusiastic social workers for our Children in Care.We are looking for someone who is committed to supporting children and families throughout and who can be creative and innovative in the provision of support.
You would be working with a team of social workers, that are passionate about the needs of our children and young people.
Within the social worker role your work will include: • Managing a caseload of children in care, ensuring their welfare and development are prioritised.
• Undertaking statutory visits and assessments to ensure that children are safe, supported, and thriving in their placements.
• Developing care plans and pathway plans, working collaboratively with children, families, and partner agencies.
• Advocating for children and young people to ensure their voices are heard and their needs are met.
• Working closely with foster carers, residential settings, and schools to ensure a holistic approach to care.

To apply for this post you must have experience and demonstrate an understanding of the issues facing vulnerable children and young people.The successful candidate must be a qualified social worker and registered with Social Work England.
