Days and hours of work: Monday - Friday, 09:00-17:00Flexi time is applicable.To start asap.This is a key post in social work assessment and case management of service users with Learning Disabilities in East Lothian.
This post will sit in the wider Integrated Community Learning Disability TeamCore work of the team includes assessment, case management and review of adults with LD, young people transitioning to Adult Services from school, Guardianship reviews and statutory Adult Support and Protection work.
The recruitment to this post is now essential to ensure the LD team can manage work tor the Health and Social Care Partnership to fulfil its statutory requirements in relation to social care and related legislation.The successful candidate will have a robust approach to fulfilling social work requirements within the legislative framework, whilst thinking creatively in their approach to supporting people and local communities to achieve their identified outcomes along with individual social work responsibility for a case load.
