Social Value Manager (Community Impact) Your role is all about impact - using data and insight to tell the story about the impact we have made in our communities.
Helping us to communicate and celebrate the work we have done and the difference we have made across all our areas of operation.
And you wont stop there, we know our peoples needs are constantly changing, your interpretation and analysis of internal and external data will ensure we remain delivering to the needs of our communities, reviewing our existing offers and delivering entirely new ones where they are needed.

This is a key role in helping us to identify the needs of our communities, shape the services that people need and share the impact that we have.
You'll be able to tell the story from the data, communicating and celebrating our impact along the way" You'll be an integral part of the business development team, helping us to deliver on our corporate vision to be there to support people when they need us, and achieve the ambitious targets set out in our growth strategy As a Social Value Manager, a typical day might include: Owning our Social Value reporting across the group, ensuring we capture, maximise and can talk about the impact we have made for our communities.
You will take the lead in shaping our approach to social value across our organisation, ensuring we have the right systems and processes in place to capture and report efficiently.
Owning our annual ESG reporting, delivering comprehensive and well evidenced positioning reports that showcases our commitment and impact across these areas, working with senior managers and colleagues across the group to ensure we maximise all areas to report on.
Challenging our Customer Satisfaction data, identifying areas that require further investigation and understanding, undertaking analysis and sharing findings across the group.
Owning relationships with researchers and data partners, including our own for tenant satisfaction, wider sector-based researchers and those engaged through Campus for Future Living to ensure we are engaged with insightful and thought leading insight pieces.
Learning is shared both internally and externally, and our own approaches are challenged where improvements are possible.
Use our own internal data, and that from other sources to ensure we have a clear picture of the needs of our communities and customers groups.
Working with the HoBD, Growth Manager, Bid Manager, Projects and operational teams to share this insight, ensuring our delivery fits the needs of those we are here to help and drive lasting change for our districts.
Working with the communications team to develop positioning pieces, data insight stories and social return on investment.
Developing reports, updates and wider communications, alongside delivering events to really showcase the impact we have made.
Helping us to celebrate the impact we have made across our communities by providing impact data and reporting that tells the story and can be used to communicate both internally to our colleagues and externally to our customers, partners, funders, local authorities and within award submissions Enabling our colleagues from across our organisations to really understand the needs and challenges of our communities - who are our customers and what can we do to help them when they need us Adapt key messages to suit a wide range of audiences.
And be able to communicate these in a variety of ways to ensure they are clearly articulated and understood by all - whether that be through dashboards, infographics, case studies or strategic reports - you'll find a way to deliver the right message in the right way Managing and maximising income generated through our external supply chain.
Working with procurement colleagues and contract managers to leverage more income where possible, firmly establishing, measuring and sharing the wider social value impact delivered through our suppliers With support from the communication team, own the submission of award entries, ensuring these position us across sectors including housing, education, health and communities - bringing to the table the evidencable impact we have made for our customers, partners and in the areas we work.
Support with the preparation of wider strategic documents and reports including our annual report, value for money and impact statements.
Lead on the development and delivery of internally led research pieces that helps us gain valuable insight or drive new ideas that will generate social return Some of the experience/skills we need to consider you: An analytical mindset, with a strategic outlook.
You need the ability to bring multiple data reports together to paint a fully informed and rounded picture.
You love to ask why, channelling your inner five-year-old, and this is closely followed by how and what next?

Expert user of Excel is a must you'll need this to ensure accurate date, an efficient approach to reporting and an ability to communicate findings in a clear yet comprehensive way.
A relationship builder at heart.
You need to be comfortable being out and about in the business, working with people at all levels to gather information.
Skills in persuasiveness and being comfortable in challenging anyone are all essential in this role.
Report writing, presenting numbers and analysis in different ways will be bread and butter to you.
Youre just as comfortable verbally presenting reports to executive and senior leaders, and board committees.
Excellent, clear communication skills across a variety of means, with a can-do, will-do attitude, and bags of enthusiasm to continue learning new things in new ways.
A strong customer focused approach both externally and internally, with a real passion for improving communities, helping more people and having an even bigger impact.
Motivated, adaptable, determined and able to work on your own initiative to resolve problems and achieve results.
