Job Duties:Conducting research in the field of sociologyTeaching social science courses to studentsDeveloping curriculum and lesson plansEvaluating student progress and providing feedbackParticipating in departmental meetings and professional development activitiesRequired Qualifications:Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Sociology or related fieldDemonstrated knowledge of sociological theories and research methodsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamEducation:Bachelor's degree in Sociology or related field
Experience:Previous experience in teaching or research in the field of sociology
Knowledge and Skills:Strong understanding of sociological conceptsProficiency in research methodologiesAbility to engage and motivate studentsExcellent organisational skillsPreferred Qualifications:Master's or PhD in SociologyTeaching qualificationExperience in curriculum developmentWorking Conditions:This role involves working in an educational setting, interacting with students and colleagues. The work may require occasional evening or weekend hours for meetings or events.
