The Streaming, Social & Programmatic Propositions team at Channel 4 is dedicated to advancing Channel 4's digital sales products and propositions. This team is strategically divided into three specialised areas: Streaming & Social Sales, Programmatic & Data, and Social Sales Business Development, all committed to continual innovation and delivering exceptional customer service.
JOB PURPOSE
As the Social Sales Business Development Leader, you will define the social sales strategy, set direction for the team, and accelerate revenue growth through business development. You will work closely with leadership to identify growth areas from existing and new customers.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Acts as the voice of Channel 4 and main point of contact for social sales.Engages actively in the market, speaking to customers to grow the Social Sales revenue base.Manages high-level meetings with senior customers regarding our Social Sales proposition.Identifies new trends and platforms to evolve our Social Sales offering.Analyzes social media trends to optimize campaign strategies.Directs the team in delivering successful sales materials.Speaks articulately on Channel 4's digital suite of products.Provides detailed analysis on Social Sales revenue targets and updates on risks and opportunities.Manages sales pipeline and revenue forecasts.Represents Channel 4 at industry networking events.Collaborates to define inventory strategy across social platforms.ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS Extensive experience in digital media sales, preferably video ad sales.Proven record of exceeding digital revenue targets.Social partner sales experience.Experience with Google Ad Manager.Digital trading and price negotiation experience.Familiarity with the broadcast advertising industry.Excellent understanding of the social media landscape.Knowledge of Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) regulations.Confident presenter with a strong UK agency sales network.
