What does this role involve day to day? Day-to-day running of JCB's global social media channels. Sourcing, briefing and creating social-first content. Addressing an audience of over 2 million machine owners, operators and fans with your copywriting abilities. Community management across our social media platforms to provide our customers with support and service. Share knowledge with internal stakeholders and supporting 20+ regional marketing managers across JCB's worldwide organisation. This will be suited to you if You've had previous experience looking after day-to-day social media, with examples of creative content and campaigns that have led to high engagement with impeccable copywriting skills. You are creative, able to come up with ideas to keep the brand visible and engaging. You have experience and a high level of understanding of social media best practice, how the algorithms work and how to beat them. You'll be the kind of person who knows how to bring calm to challenging situations and can explain in detail how social media works to an audience which may not be as literate in the field. You have a willingness to learn and develop knowledge of social media reporting and social media listening platforms to measure social performance and report back the success of social media campaigns back to the business. You have an understanding or interest in the construction and agriculture industry would be of huge benefit, as you'll soon need to be talking knowledgeably about our machines and understanding what makes them stand out from the others.
