Role Overview: The Social Media and Campaign Marketing Manager will own the development and execution of PingCAP's social media strategy and integrated campaign initiatives.
This role will focus on managing organic social efforts, planning and executing email campaigns, and driving engagement across various marketing channels.
Success in this role will require collaboration across internal teams to amplify brand awareness and nurture customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities: Social Media Management: Define, execute and regularly iterate PingCAP's organic social media strategy across platforms, including LinkedIn, Twitter (X), and YouTube.
Manage day-to-day social posting, community interaction, and audience engagement while maintaining consistency with brand tone and voice.
Identify and leverage industry trends and relevant topics to engage key audiences.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to promote events, product updates, and thought leadership content through social channels.
Educates team members on social media best practices and manages social media team member engagement program to increase brand awareness Track social media KPIs, such as engagement, impressions, and follower growth, providing insights to optimize future efforts.
Campaign Planning & Execution: Strategize, execute, and optimize a data-driven demand generation campaign strategy to achieve sales goals for an assigned geographic or firmographic defined market segment.
Responsible for developing and deploying integrated marketing campaigns, including crafting strategy, developing audience segments, building email nurtures, owning top funnel virtual events, and measuring results Lead the strategy and execution of integrated campaigns to promote webinars, newsletters, events, and content.
Work closely with product marketing and content marketing teams to align messaging across channels and ensure consistency.
Develop campaign timelines and manage deliverables from kickoff to execution.
Use segmentation and personalized messaging to improve email campaign effectiveness and nurture leads through the sales funnel.
Content Creation & Collaboration: Collaborate with Content Marketing to write and curate compelling copy for social posts, email campaigns, and landing pages.
Collaborate with designers to produce engaging visual content, such as graphics and videos, to support campaigns.
Partner with thought leaders and content teams to amplify insights and product expertise through campaigns and social media.
Performance Tracking & Reporting: Analyze and report on the performance of social media and email campaigns using tools like Google Analytics, LinkedIn Analytics, and marketing automation platforms.
Identify trends, insights, and opportunities for continuous improvement in both social media engagement and campaign outcomes.
Conduct A/B testing on email subject lines, content, and layouts to drive better results.
Qualifications: 3-5 years of experience in social media management, campaign planning, or email marketing, ideally within SaaS or the tech space.
Strong understanding of LinkedIn, Twitter (X), YouTube, and email marketing best practices.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create engaging content and compelling messaging.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency with email marketing platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo) and CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce).
Experience in campaign performance reporting and data-driven decision-making.
Knowledge of open-source technologies, cloud computing, or databases is a plus.
