Your Key Responsibilities IPG-X is on the hunt for a Social Media Group Account Director to lead our growing social team, create best in class work for our clients and support with business development and growth.
As Social Media Group Account Director, you'll have the opportunity to lead the social strategy and content for one of the world's leading luxury automotive clients, Bentley Motors. Acting as an extension of Bentley's global social team covering everything from strategy, social first creative and elevating social content across hero campaigns.
As well as leading Bentley social, you'll be actively involved in the growth of luxe clients across the agency's portfolio. So, experience with luxe brands is a bonus. You'll have a collaborative spirit and work well with wider agency teams as well as our clients. This role will be supported by a team of social experts, as well as the wider agency teams, reporting directly into one of the Managing Partners.
Problem SolvingIdentify problems and provide information and data necessary to generate solutions.Business Relationship ManagementClosely track any changes in the client's business and their sectors.Build and deliver best-in-class business solutions over time to establish effective relationships.Strategic ThinkingYou will be a strategic thinker, supporting clients to develop their social media strategies and working closely with brand strategy and paid strategy teams to ensure alignment.Have a strong understanding of the social and influencer landscape.Creative ThinkingRelentlessly drive creativity through social by generating ideas and executions that are unexpected, and insight driven.Provide insights and recommendations to improve campaigns, pushing boundaries in the pursuit of great work.Influence & NegotiationRespond effectively to the positions of others and create milestones and symbols that rally support.Understand the importance of accurate forecasting and invoicing.Understand and measure realisation, utilisation and margin and make adjustments to maximise.Generate solutions for the clientOffer solutions beyond what the client has expressly asked for, identify brand opportunities without constraints, and campaign for better ideas.Identify opportunities for the client's brand across social and think big about which technologies, media, or channels would be most relevant.Anticipate and resolve client issues as they are identified but know when to elevate to your supervisor so that you are utilising your team's experience and expertise.Develop and cultivate relationships with clients in a manner that translates into opportunities for the client and agency.At all times, ensure our work meets client's business and communications objectives.Focus on PeopleBe a formal leader of a team, leading a diverse team of individuals towards a common goal.Deal effectively with difficult conversations and negotiations.Contribute to the functional and professional development of your team and ensure best practice sharing with other disciplines.Deliver top resultsIdentify account growth opportunities and future income streams.Play an integral role in a new business pitch, and be able to lead pitches from a social perspective.Deliver on Brilliant BasicsManage the distribution of status reports and timing plans, utilising company tools and systems according to your area of business, ensure jobs are scheduled on time and budget, regularly monitoring progress and costs and highlighting any issues immediately with relevant people.Manage administrative elements of your role including internal and external systems; job numbers and associated information; timesheet completion; approval and distribution of contact reports within 48 hours of meeting; proof-read documents or presentations for clients prior to despatch; ensure creative ideas match the brief; identify and manage deliverable risks as required and respond accordingly.Ensure work is always of high quality; respond promptly to client requests and manage expectations with them; produce accurate quotations; manage jobs within scope of work; provide quality briefs every time; manage KPIs across team.Benefits In addition to a competitive salary, we are committed to creating a brilliant environment for all our people.
