Responsibilities: Responds to security alerts created across infosec alerting systemsEscalates security alerts requiring further investigationCreates new security alerts and dashboards as neededPerforms threat hunting across information security log feedsCreates Infosec policies, procedures, and playbooksMonitors, investigates and responds to security incidentsPerforms root cause analysis on identified vulnerabilities and incidentsConducts security reviews and penetration testing across company products and servicesConducts vulnerability scanning and triages vulnerabilities across company productsMonitors changes in the network and network activity for threatsSecurity Clearance requiredRequirements: Bachelor's degree in information technology or a related field preferredSecurity certification such as Security+, GSEC, CompTIA CySA+, or Cisco Cyber Ops are desirableDemonstrated knowledge of information security concepts and best practicesUnderstanding of InfoSec concepts such as cloud infrastructure, application security, vulnerability scanning, and penetration testingExperience with SIEM tools, log observability, AWS, and other infosec related apps and tools preferredSome experience with infosec testing tools and scriptsFamiliar with SaaS application concepts: secure configuration, APIs, logging, access control, permissions, and troubleshootingExperience with relevant business applications such as ERP, CRM, and IdP solutionsFamiliar with Docker and containerization desirableKnowledge of implementing secure IT SaaS applicationsFamiliar with OWASP top 10 and MITRE ATT&CK FrameworkKnowledge of various operating systems: ChromeOS, Linux, Mac, and WindowsAble to navigate the Linux command lineAbility to write basic Python scripts desirableStrong verbal and written communication skillsExcellent time management and organization skillsExcellent analytical skills
