Small Works Engineer

Small Works Fire Engineer - Fire & Electrical- Kent & East London R ole overview : To provide Installation, maintenance and servicing of fire safety equipment, emergency light and smoke vent systems, in accordance with all current British & European Standards.
General Duties/Key Responsibilities: Provide day to day installation, planned and reactive maintenance of contracts.
Carry out any remedial works as required.
Install replacement and additional equipment.
Assist in the training of apprentices as required.
May be required to support with servicing and call outs during the day.
Act in a professional and diligent manor, considering the need of the client.
You must be able to demonstrate the following Qualifications and Experience: A background from the Fire Engineering sector.
17th or 18th Edition Qualification (if not the18th SFE will fund this) Experience and understanding of British & FIRAS Standards is essential.
H&S qualification/experience in social housing or construction is desirable.
Good understanding of the British Standards BS 5839 and BS 5266.
Driving Licence.
