Position: Slinger/Signaller Location: Bempton, North Yorkshire, UK Project: Shaft Sinking - Working with a Crawler Crane and Assisting Team Salary: £200 Hours: 07:00-17:00 Employment Type: Temporary Requirements: Valid Blue CPCS Card We are currently recruiting for a Slinger/Signaller to join a specialist engineering contractor renowned for delivering complex tunnelling and civil engineering projects.
This role involves supporting a shaft sinking project, working closely with a crawler crane, and contributing to a skilled team handling intricate site tasks.
Key Responsibilities: Carry out slinging and signalling duties to support crane operations, ensuring safety and precision in all movements.
Assist with setting up and maintaining a safe working area during shaft sinking activities.
Work closely with the ground team, providing hands-on support to facilitate effective project delivery.
Adhere to strict health and safety guidelines, contributing to a hazard-free work environment.
Qualifications and Experience: Proven experience as a Slinger/Signaller, particularly in civil or tunnelling projects, is highly advantageous.
A proactive approach to teamwork and safety standards.
Valid Blue CPCS card is essential.
