Job Title: Slinger Location: Nottingham, UK Contract Type: Long Term Salary: £19 per hour Job Description: We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Slinger to work on a construction site in Nottingham.
The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting crane operators in lifting and moving heavy loads safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities: Assist crane operators with the movement and lifting of heavy loads Communicate with the crane operator using hand signals or radio communication Ensure the safety of all personnel on the site during lifting operations Rig and unrig loads for lifting operations Inspect and maintain slings, chains, and other lifting gear before and after use Follow all health and safety procedures and regulations on the siteRequirements: A valid CPCS Slinger/Signaller card Previous experience working as a Slinger on construction sites Good communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team A strong commitment to health and safety Available to work long termSalary and Benefits: The successful candidate will be working on a prestigious project with a reputable company, gaining valuable experience and furthering your career in the construction industry.
