We are seeking a skilled and experienced Site Supervisor to oversee and manage our sites in accordance with company policies and safety regulations.
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Site Supervisor to oversee the revamping and repowering of our utility-scale solar projects.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing site activities, ensuring project milestones are met, and maintaining strict adherence to safety and quality standards.

Main responsibilities -Supervise and coordinate daily operation at the construction site, including worker activities, equipment use and project progress.
-Oversee the dismantling of existing solar modules, inverters, and other components as required for revamping and repowering.
-Monitor work progress, quality, and compliance with specifications and safety standards.
-Manage and coordinate subcontractors and site personnel, including assigning tasks and providing guidance as needed.
-Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, all relevant laws and regulations.
-Implement and enforce safety policies and procedures, including conducting safety meetings and training sessions for site personnel.
-Maintain accurate records of site activities, including daily reports, progress updates, and incident reports.
-Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to resolve issues and address project requirements effectively.
-Ensure that all materials and equipment are properly utilised and maintained on site.
-Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, productivity, and safety awareness -The role requires you to travel around the UK and be prepared to be away from home for certain periods of time No job description can be entirely comprehensive and the jobholder will be expected to adapt and carry out other duties as may be required, on the understanding that they will be within the individual's remit, capability, and consistent with the responsibilities of the role.
Skills and qualifications -Proven experience as a site supervisor or similar role in utility-scale solar projects, with specific expertise in revamping and repowering operations.
-Strong understanding of solar system components, electrical systems, and construction management.
-Excellent leadership and personnel management skills.
-Strong problem solving skills and attention to detail.
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
-SSSTS or other safety training.
