Sector: Construction/Concrete Works Salary: Competitive (DOE) We are currently seeking a Site Supervisor/Manager to oversee site-based operations from initial preparations to project completion.
This role is vital for ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
The Site Supervisor will lead by example, managing teams effectively and ensuring smooth operations throughout.
Key Responsibilities: Project Management: Plan and organise required plant, materials, and equipment for each project.
Coordinate crew travel and accommodation arrangements.
Supervise and direct daily site operations, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets.
Liaise with clients and internal teams, relaying critical project information promptly.
Manage concrete supply requirements and address any supply-related issues.
Implement and oversee QA procedures, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed and shared.
Submit daily and weekly reports, including work schedules, incident reports, and plant checklists.
Oversee snagging operations and ensure all company property is accounted for post-project.
Health & Safety: Ensure all works are carried out in line with RAMS and company health and safety policies.
Identify and mitigate potential safety risks on-site.
Enforce site safety procedures to minimise accidents and injuries.
Work closely with the Health & Safety Manager to address and resolve safety concerns.
Team Management: Delegate tasks to team members based on skills and experience.
Organise daily shift patterns and workflows.
Onboard and train new team members, appointing mentors to support their development.
Monitor and evaluate employee performance, addressing any concerns appropriately.
Serve as the first point of contact for site personnel, escalating issues to the office team when necessary.
Requirements: Proven experience in site supervision within the construction or concrete works sector.
Strong leadership and organisational skills with the ability to manage teams effectively.
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations and RAMS procedures.
Proficiency in reporting and using relevant project management software or apps.
Willingness to travel to various project sites.
