AS OCU continues on a journey of substantial growth, we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Site Supervisor to come and join us based in Slough.
The Site Supervisor role plays a crucial role in overseeing construction projects, ensuring they are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
Duties and Responsibilities: - Oversee day-to-day operations at the construction site, ensuring adherence to plans, specifications, and safety standards.
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth progress of the project.
- Monitor workmanship and materials to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
-  Keep accurate records of work progress, materials used, and any issues encountered.
Provide regular updates to project managers and stakeholders.
- Identify and address any issues or conflicts that arise during construction, finding solutions to keep the project on track.
- Conduct regular inspections of the site to ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and project specifications.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of site workers, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Monitor project expenses and ensure resources are used efficiently to stay within budget.
- Maintain positive relationships with clients, addressing any concerns or requests promptly and professionally.
Skills & Experience: -  Previous experience in construction, preferably in a supervisory role.
-  Understanding of construction methods, materials, and techniques.
-  Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively coordinate with team members, contractors, and clients.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills -  Ability to lead and motivate a team, while also working collaboratively with others.
