Job Description Site Services Engineer \n £35.00 Per Hour \n Wrexham \n Days Only (4 on 4 off) \n gap technical are proud to be representing this established food manufacturing business in their search for a Site Services Engineer to work at their facility based near Wrexham.
\n Performance Objectives \n \n To carry out and complete to the highest standards the Planned Preventative Maintenance CMMS system requirements for site.
\n Compile and maintain up to date Maintenance records.
\n Ensure that the area complies with statutory Health and Safety requirements working under the direction of the site Health and Safety officer.
\n Accurately record and report all engineering downtime daily.
\n Undertake planned and reactive mechanical maintenance duties and repairs to assets, such as mechanical plant and associated equipment and infrastructure.
\n Assist and improve service delivery through the effective use of systems, equipment, and processes.
\n Develop and evaluate method statements and risk assessments.
\n Have a proactive approach in ensuring all plant and equipment is completely operational and fit for purpose.
\n Ensure spares and equipment are acquired on a timely basis to ensure minimal interruption to equipment and infrastructure.
\n Any other ad-hoc exercises as directed by the Site Services Manager.
\n \n Person Specification \n \n Hold a recognised, appropriate apprenticeship.
\n Previous experience as a Site Services Engineer with a proven track record \n Be able to demonstrate knowledge of maintaining and repairing mechanical equipment and systems.
\n Competent Steam Boiler Operator (BOAS).
\n Experience with actuators, sensors, hot water cylinders, pumps, chillers, ventilation, heating and cooling systems and compressed air systems.
\n Knowledge of small-scale mechanical installation work \n Knowledge of Hot and Cold-Water Systems.
\n Knowledge of Effluent Treatment.
\n Be able to carry out Manual work, working at heights and in confined spaces.
\n PC Literate.
\n Fluency in English both spoken and written.
