Job summary We are offering the exciting opportunity to join our Trust as a Site Senior Lead.
We are looking for an motivated individual who will support and lead our Site teams, and provide support to the wider Trust.
You will be a Health Care Professional with significant management experience and a thorough knowledge of Capacity and Flow management along side the ability to support discharge processes and the reduction of length of stay in our hospitals whilst focussing on best patient care quality.
Main duties of the job The Senior Site Lead will work closely with the Site Management and to ensure effective delivery of operations across the Capacity and Flow Corporate Business Unit (CBU) in line with the multidisciplinary strategy and vision that enables the delivery of the Trust objectives.Specifically, the post holder will be responsible for providing senior professional, operational and strategic clinical leadership to the site operations team, leading and developing this team to support 24/7 patient placement across the organisation.
The Site Senior Lead will support the Long Lenght of Stay reduction processes and work closely with divisional teams to minimise delays for patients in the organisation.The post holder will proactively support patient flow from the point of patient admission through to discharge, liaising with relevant clinical teams and divisions as necessary to minimise delays and problem solve flow issues.
This role will operate as 'Silver on site' during the day and will work closely with Silver on Call colleaguesin line with escalation levels.
The Site Senior Lead will represent the Trust with external partners at a tactical / silver level and will be the initial point of contact for system partners during working hours.
The post holder will develop excellent working relationships with clinical teams across the Trust and will deputise for the Head of Site Operations as required.

Person Specification Qualifications Essential Relevant Masters degree or First degree and management qualification, MBA or equivalent experience in similar role Health Care Professional with relevant professional registration Evidence of continuous professional development Desirable Project management qualification Experience Essential Substantial recent general management experience in the NHS with responsibility for operational matters including, staff management, budgetary responsibility, performance targets, waiting list management, discharge arrangements Evidence of delivery of key targets including quality and financial targets and commitment to on-going service improvement Proven experience of successful change management and service redesign Evidence of ability to assess operational demand and develop appropriate capacity in response Experience of successfully implementing policies and procedures in a healthcare environment.
