As the Site Reliability Manager for a global business you will be responsible for leading a reliability team and driving best practice forward throughout the site, stores and procurement across a heavy industrial manufacturing site.
Our client is an established, growing global multibillion GBP t/o business.
The Birmingham site has a planned £10million CAPEX spend in the next 18 months, with further investment planned.
The site has its own CHP (Combined Heat & Power) and WTP (water treatment plant), therefore the ideal candidate will have gained their leadership experience in a highly regulated, safety critical environment.
Your responsibilities as Site Reliability Manager include:
--Team leadership, both permanent staff and contractors, setting of SMART objectives aligned to the business and fostering a culture of excellence and strategy to achieve site excellence
--Development and execution of the site reliability improvement plan
--Developing, executing and delivering engineering budgets
Your Profile:
--Multi skilled and technically qualified Manager with in-depth understanding of both heavy mechanical and electrical engineering
--People focused with leadership experience gained in heavy industrial manufacturing
--Knowledge of Health & Safety and compliance, with an understanding of current regulations - IOSH or other H&S qualification desired
--Relentless attitude to driving change and improvement
--Positive communicator with a calm but driven approach
