Job DescriptionSite Quantity SurveyorThis is a great opportunity for an experienced Site Quantity Surveyor to join a main contractor and work on a Sewage Treatment Works (STW) in Guildford.
The company is an award-winning main contractor who are market leaders in the civils sector.
Your role as Site Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for supporting the Senior Commercial Team with the succesful delivery of the project.Key responsibilities for this Site Quantity Surveyor role:• Maintain effective communication with the commercial team, departmental leads and other associated disciplines.• Management of subcontractors including payments preparation, final account work, and inputting into dispute resolution.• Dealing with queries promptly to avoid disputes.• Monitor cost as part of budget and cost control.• Produce monthly cost and value reports, quarterly reports and present to senior management.• Take part in discussions concerning project performance and provide commercial input to project strategy.Experience required for this Site Quantity Surveyor role:• Must have worked on Civils Projects • Must have worked with NEC Contracts and other standard forms of contract • Strong Commercial Awareness • Experience in establishing and delivering work programs and schedules.• Hands-on experience in creating reporting and managing budgets.• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.• Relevant degreePackage offered for this Site Quantity Surveyor role:· Day rate/Salary· Benefits (list out key benefits)
