Our latest mandate with this Blue Chip food manufacturer is an exciting opportunity to join the Operational SLT for a key site in the group based in the Birmingham, West Midlands area as Site Operations Manager Whats on Offer: Salary up to £90k Car Allowance 10% Bonus Private Healthcare Matched 10% Pension contribution Long term career development & progression The Role: As Site Operations Manager you will oversee day to day operations of this key site reporting to the Group Operations Director.
As a key member of the management team you will safely lead and develop the manufacturing function through clear and inspirational leadership; ensuring optimal productivity and efficiency and that all manufacturing KPI's are met.
You are responsible for both the performance and health and safety of the entire site.
The Candidate: Must have a proven & quantifiable background in a leadership role within complex food manufacturing.
A graduate in Manufacturing or Engineering related discipline (or equivalent) preferable.
Excellent project management and presentation skills.
Strong leadership and development skills.
Ability to build effective relationships, and the credibility to lead and influence at all levels of the business.
You must be a lateral thinker with good critical reasoning skills capable of identifying opportunities for improvement and delivering solutions with high commercial acumen.
Highly driven and results focused with a passion to drive performance and change.
