Were seeking a skilled Site Engineer to oversee surfacing projects, ensuring they are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.
Collaborate with Contracts Managers and Supervisors to achieve exceptional results.
Job Responsibilities Plan and supervise on-site works, ensuring compliance with Health & Safety standards.
Manage staff performance, resources, and equipment to meet project timelines.
Devise and implement traffic management plans, including signage and safety measures.
Monitor daily progress and document activities in line with project schedules.
Measure completed works to facilitate accurate pricing and reporting.
Provide technical guidance, identifying and resolving on-site issues promptly.
Ensure adherence to Safety Management Systems, including Risk Assessments and Method Statements.
Conduct site inductions, toolbox talks, and audits to promote safety and accountability.
Liaise with clients, customers, and statutory agencies to ensure project success and maintain strong relationships.
Job Requirements Third Level Qualification in Civil Engineering or related field.
Minimum 1 year of experience as a Site Engineer in the civil engineering industry.
Experience in road surfacing is highly desirable.
Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and groundwork techniques.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Valid Driving Licence.
