Job Description: Freelance Site Engineer - BromsgroveWe are currently seeking an experienced Freelance Site Engineer for a project in Bromsgrove, starting next week, with an expected duration of 3-4 months.Key Responsibilities:Setting Out: Conducting accurate setting out for all aspects of the project, including drainage, ducting, and reinforced concrete slab works.Compliance and Safety: Ensuring all work complies with current health and safety standards and project specifications, particularly for works on a major road.Reporting: Preparing accurate reports, records, and site documentation as required.Collaboration: Working closely with site management, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project success.Essential Skills and Experience:Experience: Proven track record in similar freelance roles, particularly with drainage, ducting, and reinforced concrete slabs.
Experience on major road projects is highly desirable.Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of civil engineering principles and construction techniques related to the project's scope.Setting Out: Proficient in the use of surveying equipment (e.g., GPS, total stations).Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to liaise effectively with team members and stakeholders.Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to resolve issues swiftly.Qualifications:A degree or HNC/HND in Civil Engineering or a related field.Relevant certifications (CSCS card, SMSTS or SSSTS advantageous).A valid UK driving license.Linsco is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.
