A highly reputable, independent SEN secondary school located in the Towcester and Silverstone area is seeking a dedicated and experienced Site Manager to join their permanent staff from January 2025 (or sooner if available).

Salary: £24,420 - £29,190 per annum, dependent on qualifications and experience.
Key Responsibilities: Overseeing the day-to-day management of the school site, ensuring all facilities are safe, secure, and well-maintained.
Conducting regular checks of the school premises, addressing any maintenance or health and safety issues.
Managing a small team of site staff, including cleaners and contractors, to ensure smooth daily operations.
Carrying out minor repairs and general maintenance tasks, such as plumbing, carpentry, and decorating.
Ensuring that the school complies with all health, safety, and security regulations, including fire safety and risk assessments.
Liaising with external contractors for larger repairs and maintenance projects.
Managing site budgets and ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
Supporting school events and activities by setting up rooms and equipment as required.
Requirements: Proven experience in a similar Site Manager or Facilities Manager role, ideally in an educational setting.
Strong understanding of health and safety regulations and compliance.
Practical skills in basic plumbing, carpentry, electrical work, and general repairs.
Ability to manage and prioritise multiple tasks, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.
Excellent organisational and communication skills.
A proactive and flexible approach to work, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Enhanced DBS clearance (or willingness to undergo DBS checks).
Full UK driving licence is desirable.
