Site Agent

Deanston Coopers client, a highly successful, established, civil engineering contractor based in Ayrshire, has a current requirement for a Site Agent.
Ideally they are looking to recruit an experienced Site Engineer who is looking to progress their career to the next level as full training and support will be provided.
Working for blue chip clients on projects up to £1million in value including roadworks, drainage, earthworks, reinforced concrete, commercial buildings and sub stations, your duties as Site Agent will include:Setting out on siteManaging and optimising the construction programmeManaging and minimising construction costsFostering and maintaining good working relationships with the client and client representativesLeading Safety Management on site for all activities, suppliers and subcontractorsProviding timely and accurate reports, forecasts and budgets for internal purposesLeading, motivating and monitoring the site team and developing the strategy as required Managing the supply chainApplications for the role of Site Agent are welcome from candidates with:A minimum qualification of HNC Civil EngineeringExperience at Site Engineer, Sub Agent or Site Agent / Site Manager levelAt least 5 years experience of working on a variety of civil engineering projectsKnowledge of safety legislationPositive and proactive approach to problem solvingGood commercial skillsSalary on offer is up to £50 000 plus fully expensed company car or car allowance, 5% pension, family healthcare and bonus twice per annum.
