A financially stable, privately-owned Civil Engineering Contractor is seeking to appoint a Site Agent to a recently secured £30M project in Suffolk.
This is a complex piece of inland marine construction which will provide you with great engineering exposure to large volume sheet piling, coffer dam construction and bridge construction.

As a Site Agent, you will be responsible for: Oversee project delivery, ensuring commercial performance, adherence to schedules, risk management, and accurate project reporting.
Lead and manage teams and subcontractors, ensuring proper induction, training, and compliance with technical and contractual standards.
Promote and enforce health, safety, and environmental compliance, conducting inspections, audits, and sustainable practices.
Interpret drawings, resolve technical queries, supervise temporary works, and ensure site quality control and setting-out accuracy.
Manage site operations, including RAMS preparation, resource allocation, procurement, and maintaining detailed site records.
Build and maintain strong client relationships, offering innovative or cost-saving solutions and supporting tender submissions.
To be successful in this position, it is anticipated that you: Have around 12 months of site based experience gained working on civil construction Hold a CSCS Card and SSSTS or SMSTS certification Have a full driving licence Have NEC contract knowledge On offer is a salary of between £60,000 - £70,000 per annum with car allowance and standard benefits (holiday and pension).
