Shuttering Carpenter Contract Role Start Date: 12/12/2024 Location: Birmingham We are seeking a team of 4 dedicated and experienced shuttering carpenters to join our team and work on a busy commercial project.
Shuttering Carpenter Benefits: Competitive hourly rates of £25 per hour (CIS) - equivalent to £21 per hour PAYE direct.
3 months contract duration.
9 hours workdays - no break deducted.
Consideration for future work with a busy client.
Shuttering Carpenter Responsibilities: Reading Blueprints: Interpreting construction drawings to create accurate formwork.
Measuring and Cutting: Precisely measuring and cutting materials (wood, metal, or plastic) to build formwork.
Assembling Formwork: Constructing and securing the shuttering structures to hold wet concrete.
Ensuring Stability: Reinforcing the shuttering to ensure it can withstand the weight of the poured concrete.
Safety Compliance: Following safety standards to protect workers and maintain construction integrity.
Shuttering Carpenter Requirements: Previous experience and references.
Right to work in the UK.
CSCS Level 2/Level 3.
Own tools.
Good physical stamina and hand-eye coordination.
Knowledge of construction safety protocols.
Ability to work in a team and under tight deadlines.
