About the RoleWe are seeking a dedicated and experienced site-based Shift Supervisor to join our team.As a Shift Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the security operations of our facilities, managing a team of security personnel, and ensuring the protection of our property and personnel.The successful candidate will have a strong background in security management, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to handle emergency situations effectively.Working Nights on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern (42 hours per week)Join us today and let your expertise shine through in this challenging and rewarding role.Job OpportunityYour responsibilities will include:Supervise and coordinate the activities of the security staff, ensuring they adhere to company policies and procedures.Develop and implement security protocols and procedures to enhance safety and security.Conduct regular training sessions for security personnel on safety protocols, emergency response, and customer service.Monitor security systems, including surveillance cameras, alarms, and access control systems.Perform regular inspections of the premises to identify and address potential security risks.Investigate security breaches, incidents, and other disturbances, documenting findings and implementing corrective actions.Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency services when necessary.Prepare and maintain accurate records and reports related to security activities and incidents.Conduct welfare checks to ensure the well-being of personnel on site.Provide excellent customer service to employees, clients, and visitors.Ensure compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements.Essential SkillsRight to work in the UK with a 5-year checkable history.Current, valid SIA license.Full UK driving license (you will be using one of our patrol cars for site patrols).Access to your own vehicle or able to commute to the site within a maximum distance of 10 miles.Minimum of 3 years of security experience.Demonstrable experience in a supervisory capacity.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Good time management and ability to plan workload effectively.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.Friendly and helpful in your approach.DE&ISecuritas is an all-inclusive employer, and we encourage individuality within our company.
