Shift Supervisor - ManufacturingAre you a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment?
Do you excel at making decisions independently but know when to escalate to ensure the best outcomes?In this hands-on role, you'll oversee daily production activities, manage resources, and ensure smooth, efficient operations while maintaining a safe work environment.What Youll Do:Take charge of daily production: Create and execute the daily schedule, manage resources, and ensure everything runs smoothly with full autonomy.Lead and motivate your team: Inspire your team to perform at their best, while also knowing when to step in and provide direction or escalate issues when needed.Develop your team: Provide the training, support, and resources your team needs to meet production goals and maximise their potential.Solve problems on the floor: Youll be hands-on in troubleshooting issues, but always with the confidence to escalate when the situation demands it to keep production running efficiently.Monitor performance: Track KPIs and lead action plans to resolve deviations, driving continuous improvement in both efficiency and quality.Ensure safety: Lead by example in maintaining a safe, clean, and compliant workspace.What You Bring:A proven leader who can make autonomous decisions and manage complex production activities independently, while also knowing when to escalate issues to senior management.Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to overcoming challenges.Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage with all levels of the team and keep everyone aligned.Experience in staff development and ensuring team capabilities match production needs.Familiarity with manufacturing planning and a keen eye for detail.Previous experience with processes like electro-mechanical assembly would be a plus.Why This Role is for YOU:You will be joining a growing, forward-thinking team where your leadership will help shape operational success and drive continuous improvement not to mention work in a business that supports their staff to develop.Salary of £33,000 - £38,000 dependent on experience plus 15% shift allowance.25 days' annual leave entitlementCompany discretionary bonusMatched contribution pension schemeShare save opportunitiesIncome protectionLife assurancePrivate medical insuranceHealth cash planWorking hours are Monday - Friday, 5.45am - 2.15pm (week 1), 1.45pm - 10.15pm (week 2).Ready to Lead and Make an Impact?If youre looking for an exciting opportunity to use your autonomy and leadership skills while making a difference, apply today and take the next step in your career!
