We are hiring a Shift Manager for our Lutterworth site, working 37.5hrs a week, 18:00-02:00 Monday to Friday for £38,364.89 and £1200 night shift allowance?

Purpose of the role As a Warehouse Shift Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the warehouse during your assigned shift.
Your role will involve managing a team of warehouse staff, implementing efficient processes, ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines, and maintaining a safe and organized working environment.
Your strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of pharmaceutical logistics, and ability to drive operational excellence will be crucial to the success of our warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities Team Management Lead, coach, and supervise a team of warehouse personnel, including warehouse operatives, and team leaders.
Set performance goals, provide ongoing feedback, conduct performance reviews, and identify training and development needs.
Foster a positive work culture, promote teamwork, and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
Warehouse Operations Ensure compliance with Good Distribution Practices (GDP), Good Warehousing Practices (GWP), and relevant regulatory guidelines.
Oversee all warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, order processing, picking, packing, and shipping.
Optimise warehouse processes to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and productivity, while minimising errors and delays.
Monitor inventory levels, implement effective inventory control measures, and conduct regular stock audits to maintain accurate records Safety and Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols, including proper handling, storage, and disposal of pharmaceutical products.
Conduct regular safety inspections, identify potential hazards, and implement corrective actions to maintain a safe working environment.
Ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements, including licensing, permits, and documentation.
Performance Monitoring and Reporting Track and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the warehouse's operational efficiency and identify areas for improvement.
Generate reports on warehouse activities, including productivity, inventory accuracy, on-time deliveries, and quality metrics.
Provide regular updates and reports to senior management, highlighting achievements, challenges, and proposed solutions.
Continuous Improvement Identify opportunities for process optimisation and implement best practices to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as logistics, quality, commercial, health and safety and customer care, to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and technological advancements, and proactively suggest and implement relevant improvements.
Technical Skills and Behaviour Proven experience in warehouse operations, preferably in a pharmaceutical or regulated environment, with a minimum of 5 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
Extensive knowledge of pharmaceutical logistics processes, Good Distribution Practices (GDP), and regulatory guidelines.
Strong leadership abilities, with a proven track record of managing and motivating teams to achieve operational goals.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a focus on driving operational excellence and process improvements.
Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant software applications.
Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
Flexibility to work different shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as required by operational needs.
