Job Title: SHEQ Manager
Salary: £51,626.00
Location: Hertfordshire
Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 16:00 (40 hours/week)
Zachary Daniels are supporting a leading distribution business in the recruitment of a SHEQ Manager for one of their sites in Hertfordshire.

We are looking for a proactive SHEQ Manager to ensure the depot meets the highest standards in Safety, Health, Environmental, and Quality .
You'll play a vital role in driving compliance, training staff, conducting audits, and continuously improving safety and quality across operations.

The ideal candidate must have experience within an FMCG distribution or Manufacturing environment and be up to date with the latest standards in Health and Safety compliance.
Only applicants with RTW in the UK will be considered.

Key Responsibilities: Compliance & Safety: Oversee SHEQ systems to meet legal, insurance, and company standards.
Training & Briefing: Deliver inductions, training, and briefings to ensure teams are up-to-date with safety and quality standards.
Auditing & Reporting: Perform internal audits and resolve any non-compliance issues swiftly.
Fire Safety & Risk Management: Ensure fire safety procedures and drills are in place and completed.
Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with management to improve compliance KPIs and operational efficiency.
What You'll Need:
Experience: Strong background in a fast-paced distribution environment (essential) Qualifications: NEBOSH (or equivalent), Food Safety Level 3, HACCP Level 3.
Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office, with strong presentation and problem-solving skills.
