The focus of the SharePoint Administrator & Solutions Specialist is to manage and maintain SharePoint environments with a focus on administration, content management, and migration processes, while supporting site architecture design.
They will play a key role in ensuring SharePoint's alignment with business needs and its integration into broader digital transformation initiatives.
Duties and Responsibilities include the following.

Administer and maintain SharePoint environments, including site collections, document libraries, and lists, ensuring optimal performance and security.
Support the design and implementation of site architecture, content types, metadata structures, and permissions.
Manage SharePoint migrations, including data mapping, transition planning, and troubleshooting.
Oversee content governance by regularly reviewing and updating SharePoint content to ensure accuracy, relevance, and adherence to compliance policies.
Troubleshoot and resolve SharePoint-related issues, including performance, accessibility, and functionality concerns.
Provide training and support to end-users and internal SharePoint champions on best practices, features, and functionality.
Assist in implementing governance policies to align with internal standards and external regulations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support SharePoint's role in business workflows and process improvements.
Support SharePoint integration with third-party applications and databases.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the performance and usability of SharePoint environments.
Expertise in SharePoint administration, site architecture, and migration processes.
Familiarity with governance, security models, permissions, and user access controls in SharePoint.
In-depth knowledge of SharePoint online
Understanding of content management principles, version control, managed metadata and Term Store.
Experience with Microsoft Power Platform, particularly Power Automate and Power Apps and advantage.
Familiarity with Microsoft 365 suite, including Teams, OneDrive, and Office apps.
Knowledge of SharePoint migration tools and processes (e.g.
ShareGate).
Experience integrating SharePoint with third-party applications and databases.
