Sexual Offence Examiners (Qualified Registered Nurse, Midwife, Paramedics) Multiple locations across the Thames Valley SARC HCP and FNE both JDs to be attached to this advertisement.

We are expanding and are looking for caring and compassionate nurses (RGNs) to join us as Sexual Offence Examiner to provide holistic care and support to victims of sexual assault.

Each region has its own dedicated SARC (sexual assault referral centre) which offers support and practical help to anyone who has been a victim of rape or sexual assault.
Our services are co-funded by the police and the NHS.
The nursing team are responsible for providing a dedicated 24/7 service for forensic and acute health needs and requirements.
We have a variety of locations and hours available and shift patterns will be 12 hour shifts, 24/7, Monday-Sunday Salary: £42,379.39-£44,498.36 pro rata FTE About the Role The Sexual Offence Examiner will be responsible for (duties will include, but are not limited to): providing telephone advice to patients and colleagues.
undertaking holistic assessments including sexual health, mental health, and safeguarding.
using a camera system to document injuries.
sharing information where appropriate.
producing individual management plans.
supporting the continued quality improvement of the service.
forensic examinations and obtaining forensic exhibits.
Please note , all successful candidates will be subject to pre-employment checks including an Enhanced DBS check, two satisfactory references, and Police vetting NVVP Level 2 checks.

NMC pin, RGN A minimum of 3 years + Nursing post-qualification experience acute medical healthcare experience.
Experience of working with vulnerable adults and children.
Knowledge and understanding of safeguarding children and adults.
Knowledge and understanding confidentiality.
A full UK driving license.
