About the RoleSexual Offences Examiner/Experienced Forensic Physician - South East As part of the Forensic Medical Programme, Mountain Healthcare has developed a framework to develop key areas of knowledge and skills which will be invaluable in all specialties, especially A&E, GP, paediatrics, psychiatry and of course, Forensic MedicineAs a Forensic Medical Examiner, you will learn through clinical placements and blended learning as well as receive further personal support with an allocated mentor.
We will identify an individualised programme of education and exposure to clinical environments, providing opportunities for examinations, in addition to financial support whilst undertaking this post.What makes this post different:Working in a unique environment which you were unlikely to experience in medical schoolFlexible rota prioritising educational and development activities1:1 supervision with allocated mentorAfter undergoing a successful first year, you will have the opportunity to continue to work in the forensic field as part of our team (salary competitive) and move on to our career development programme (see attached).This programme predominantly covers Sexual Assault Referral Centres (SARCs), although there may be additional work in the adult service.
Travel will be a requirement of this role including Kent, Surrey, Sussex and Thames Valley SARC's (expenses paid).If you want to be part of this exciting team, we look forward to hearing from you.GMC Registration is required.
