The Service Operations Director will play a pivotal role in the development of the Technology and Services plans to support, enable and deliver the Softcat strategy.
As Services Operation Director, you'll be responsible for:   Working with various technical leadership colleagues to ensure excellent operational delivery and customer service.
Acting as a services evangelist for our customers in support of our Sales team.
Representing Softcat externally at industry events either (public speaking or direct round table sessions).
Working with our services partners to ensure performance, commercials, governance and management is considered as part of technical delivery.
Leading circa 200 people across Implementation, Support and Managed teams.
Working with portfolio management and service development to ensure operational delivery aligns with Technical and Services offering.
Presenting internally and externally on service operations (performance, recognition, improvement etc.)
We'd love you to have Proven Track record of service operations and innovation leadership at a senior level, in a large and complex distributed business.
Fully commercial approach with first class engagement skills at stakeholder, exec, supplier levels – a technology innovation leader.
Experience from a previous senior role with extensive technical people management, ideally including service transition / integration, programme management, professional services and support and managed services teams.
Ability to conduct research and to analyse initiatives to improve customer experience.
Experience operating as an evangelist for Softcat to our customers and the technology industry.
Excellent experience of Service Level Management and Continual Service Improvement.
Awareness of industry methodologies such as PRINCE2, AGILE and ITIL.
An understanding of customer Security challenges and delivering Cyber Security Services to their requirements (SIEM, SOC, MDR).
