Reporting to the Service Manager, the Field Service Engineer will visit customers and install, start-up, maintain and troubleshoot on our client's injection moulding machines, automation and associated equipment.
As a Field Service Engineer your duties will include, but are not limited to - Equipment installation and commissioning Start-up and customer support Maintenance of equipment at customers' premises Troubleshooting Machine relocation Service administration tasks Safety and Quality activities To be successful in the role of Field Service Engineer, the ideal Candidate will - Have an engineering qualification and training Have a recognised electrical qualification Have a working knowledge and understanding of plastic injection moulding machines and automation Be comfortable using notebooks and PCs with knowledge of MS products Have good communication skills and flexibility, with a will to find answers through methodical means and attention to detail Should be personable and helpful with a focus on assisting customers and colleagues Be able to keep calm under pressure with an ability to show initiative and a solution seeking attitude to the role Be able and willing to enrol in weekend availability, one weekend in four On offer A basic salary of £44,960.15 (based on 40 hours per week).
OT is readily available, with current Engineers working on average 50-55 hours per week OT paid at 1.35 x hourly rate weekdays, 1.5 x Saturdays and 2.0 x Sundays and Bank Holidays (+ day in lieu) Company vehicle Company pension contributions of 8% (employee minimum of 2%) Private health care and permanent disability insurance Death in service insurance 25 holidays per year plus bank holidays Laptop, iPhone, Tools etc.
