Shape your journey onboard and offshore with usOur team is expanding and we seek to recruit no less than the best Service Engineers to repair and maintain equipment in the MacGregor product range.
The purpose of the role is to provide services to our customers, for their ships & fleets, cargo access equipment and Cargo Cranes among other MacGregor or third party manufactured equipment.
The roles are UK based, ideally the successful applicant(s) will be located close to the Liverpool, Newcastle or Portsmouth regions.
However, suitable applicants from outside these areas will be considered.
Service Engineers report directly to the Operations Superintendent.
This role requires travelling throughout the UK and occasionally overseas.Main tasks and responsibilities• Provide information and present reports as required.• Establish and maintain good relationships with both internal and external customers.• Enable feedback from customers and the service market in general to reach the appropriate MacGregor organisation.• Stay up to date with relevant developments, routines, processes and news within MacGregor major customers active in business area.• Cooperate with the local MacGregor service network.
What you'll need to succeed• Mechanical/Hydraulic/Electronic, other relevant technical education.• 5 years of relevant experience.
