Electrical Engineer / Generator Engineer / Generator Technician required to join a leading electrical supplier of generators and critical power equipment.
The successful Service Engineer / Electrical Engineer / Generator Engineer / Generator Engineer shall carry out the maintenance, installation, diagnosis, repair and testing services across a range of diesel generator sets, switchgear, control systems and associated electrical critical power equipment.
Service Engineer / Electrical Engineer / Generator Engineer / Generator Technician will ideally have experience in preventative maintenance, fault diagnosis, testing and repairs on various generators and associated electrical critical power equipment, including Happy to cover Exeter and surrounding areas.
Package £35,000 - £40,000 Company Van Phone and Laptop Overtime 6% Pension Responsibilities: Carry out service and preventative maintenance, fault diagnosis, testing and repairs on various generators and associated electrical critical power equipment.
Maintain and service critical power supply equipment and associated electrical equipment, mainly generators in a wide variety of commercial and industrial sites across the Southwest.
Carrying diagnostic, testing and remedial works on generators, switchgear and associated equipment, and support PPM where required to include Load banking.
Projecting spares requirements for upcoming and planned works.
Supporting operational tasks i.e: reporting, quotations, progress reports, customer enquiries etc Liaise with various engineering departments.
Full product training provided.
Happy to cover Exeter and surrounding areas.
Requirements: Experience as a Electrical Engineer, Generator Engineer, Generator Technician, UPS Engineer, Service Engineer, Service Technician, Power Generation Engineer, or similar Qualified to 18th Edition Electrical Regulations and 2391/2 Inspect and Test would be ideal.
A qualified electrical engineer i.e: NVQ Level 3 / HNC / HND in Electronic / Electrical would be advantageous.
Solid understanding and experience within critical power applications such as LV control panels, electrical distribution, power electronics, electrical installation, generators or similar.
Full UK driving license Flexible for Overtime/part of the on-call rota.
Ability to obtain client clearances i.e: police, MOD Happy to cover Exeter and surrounding areas. ''
