Service Engineer / Fitter

The Recruitment Co. is urgently recruiting a Service Engineer / Fitter to join our clients team based in the Ikleston area.
Hours of work: Full time Monday to Friday 8am-5pm Salary: £35,000p.a (plus overtime) Contract: Permanent Summary: As a Service Engineer/Fitter, you will be required to troubleshoot, diagnose, repair & service our clients full line of equipment including directional drills and trenchers.
Key Responsibilities: Install, service, and repair .
Diagnose technical issues and troubleshoot problems effectively.
Perform routine maintenance and inspections to ensure equipment operates efficiently.
Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
Maintain accurate records of service activities and parts used.
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Experience: Ideally someone who has experience with engineering, industrial machinery, engines and is skilled in fitting and welding.
Minimum 3 years experience covering a mixture of Workshop and Site work Proven experience as a Service Engineer/Fitter or in a similar role.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to client sites as needed.
