Role : Service Designer Location : Edinburgh, 2 days per week on site required MUST be local to the office, remote working not an option.
Rate : .00 (umbrella) Duration : 6-month contract We're looking for a talented Service Designer to join our team and help shape the future of customer journeys.
You'll work at the intersection of innovation, strategy, and user-centered design, collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive impactful outcomes.
About the Role As a Service Designer, you'll: Collaborate with agile teams to uncover priorities, visualize outcomes, and define scope.
Shape strategic initiatives by incorporating customer, colleague, and market insights into propositions and services.
Facilitate workshops and discussions with stakeholders, ensuring business needs, risks, and contexts are well-understood.
Advocate for user-centered design and make informed decisions that prioritize customer experiences.
Research and document current and future state services to guide strategic projects.
Partner with designers, engineers, and product owners to craft innovative and impactful solutions.
Share knowledge and embed design principles across a variety of products, services, and customer journeys.

Experience in research and design-thinking methods to support informed decision-making.
Strong ability to conduct clear and precise product strategy.
Proven ability to conduct service blue printing.
Proven ability to conduct trend forecasting.
A background working within Insurance and/or Financial Services will be beneficial.
