We have exciting opportunities to join our well-established and growing Day Center Service as a Support Worker in Carrickfergus, Northern Ireland
Our Service runs from Monday - Friday so you would not be required to work weekends , which is great for someone looking for work life balance within the care sector.
You will be supporting individuals who have a range of complex needs, including sensory loss and learning disabilities.
Our residents to do the activities they enjoy; this might include sports, acting, trips to the theatre, cooking, or supporting someone to attend social events.
Helping to take part in a wide range of special interests and activities that support their health and wellbeing.
Within the service there are 4 weeks of fixed leave to allow for center closures.
(1 week Easter, 1 week July and 2 weeks Christmas and New Year period)
We're looking for enthusiastic applicants who are: Positive, with a can-do attitude.
Caring and empathetic.
Passionate about enhancing other people's lives.
Willing to attend training as needed to support you in your role.

This role in Carrickfergus might include supporting people with: Everyday tasks like cooking and cleaning.
Personal care and hygiene.
Finances.
Medication and wellbeing.
Going into the community for shopping or other trips.
