A fantastic one-off opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic Senior Weddings Manager to join a supportive and wonderful team.The company are committed to career growth and offer excellent career progression opportunities, including access to our apprenticeship programmes and study support.About the Role - You'll be responsible for effectively handling and converting weddings and special events enquiries from initial stages through to final details, followed by the accurate communication of client requirements to the Operational team.
You'll drive the weddings and events sales strategy forward through implementing sales and marketing initiatives to increase sales and achieve targets.
Conduct show rounds for weddings and special events, ensuring that correct information is given to the appropriate enquiry.
Assist with organisation of Wedding Showcases to highlight the property to the local wedding and banqueting market.Responsibilities - Experience in Weddings and Events planning and conversion with a hotel or weddings/events venue.
You are passionate about events and prepared to put your heart and soul into delivering memorable experiences for their guests.
Forge strong working relationships and create genuine connections with colleagues and our valued guests through your excellent communication skills.
You are confident using IT software - familiarity with Opera software would be beneficial but is not essential as training can be provided.Required SkillsExperience in Weddings and Events planning and conversionPassion for eventsExcellent communication skillsIT software proficiencyPay range and compensation package - Bonus scheme with the opportunity to earn up to 10% of salary based on business performance.
